Mission Statement

Founded  by Bill McNutt, III in 2018, the mission statement is  “To honor Texas Veterans from all wars and conflicts, to educate children / students about Freedom, Liberty and the sacrifices of Veterans.”

The organization fulfills its mission by
– Presenting an annual military parade in Corsicana, Texas on Armed Forces Day, the 3rd Saturday of each May with a Medal of Honor recipient as Grand Marshall.
– Creating a yearly Medal of Honor Banquet or event.
– The creation of monuments to honor the sacrifices of Veterans and to beautify public spaces.  (Example: the Navarro County Gold Star Monument dedicated on Armed Forces Day 2021 by Mr. Hershel Woody Williams, MOH Iwo Jima, 1945)
– Encouraging other smaller patriotic cities to host annual parades and programs.
– Sponsoring “Medal of Honor” Football Trophies between high schools that play regularly and each have a Medal of Honor recipient as a alumni. (Example: Ennis High School and Corsicana High School each of a MOH recipient as an alumni.)
– Give awards to citizens who demonstrate their love for Veterans through their actions, time and money.
– Bring speakers, military reenactors and entertainment to schools to teach students about American history and economic liberty.
